Frank Cadwell is running for a three year term as Hollis Selectman

I’m running for selectman again this year, and wish
to continue to serve the community of Hollis as one of your selectman.

A little bit about me:
I come from a family with a history of enjoying serving the community. My father and grandfather were both Rotarians who were proud of their pins received for perfect attendance. My grandfather was a trustee of the local church and the local bank. My father served on the school board and was a volunteer fireman in Old Saybrook and Chester, Ct. My brother, Stuart, was a long time member of the volunteer department in Chester. My sister, Debbie, is currently on the finance committee in Salem, Ct.

My wife Heidi and I moved to Mason, NH in 1986, where I immediately joined the volunteer fire department. On a farm on Darling Hill Road, Heidi and I raised our daughter, Tanina, our son, Linds, over thirty foster children and over two hundred animals. In 1995, Heidi and I received the award from the New Hampshire Division of Youth and Family Services for dedication to the children of New Hampshire.

We moved our family to Hollis in 2001.
I was appointed to the Hollis HDC in 2006 and have served on that committee from 2006 to present.
In 2007, I was appointed to the ZBA and became the HDC representative to the Heritage committee.
In 2008, I was elected to the board of selectmen and have served four consecutive terms.
As a selectman’s representative, I have served on the budget committee, the Hollis Recreational Committee, the Hollis Conservation Committee, the Heritage Committee, and I am the selectman’s rep to the Old Home Day Committee.

I was on the board of the Northeast Market Center for 21 years, serving as treasurer for 17 of those years.

I love coaching kids.
I started coaching in the HBYSL in 2004-2007.
I coached both boys and girls rec. basketball teams from 2005-2009.
I coached Hollis Rec. softball from 2005 to my last team, one of my favorites of all time in 2017.
I also coached the Souhegan Valley All-stars from 2009-2011, this team won three straight State Championships.
I have been assistant high school Varsity softball coach at HB and Milford High and was the Junior Varsity High School softball coach and the varsity softball coach at Mascenic High School.

I enjoy being involved as one of your selectmen and I’m readily available to you always.
